Eviction Moratorium Impact
Survey for Property Management

COVID-19 has had a direct impact on housing in multiple ways. Renters are faced with financial hardship due to lost or diminished wages putting their housing status at risk. The City also understand this places challenges on property owners.
The City of Bloomington, Bloomington Housing and Redevelopment Authority, Hennepin County and the State of Minnesota have made rental assistance available through partner organizations such as VEAP. Because the eviction moratorium is currently valid through December 31, 2020, the City is proactively planning a local response for when the moratorium ends.
We are conducting this survey to assess the impact of COVID-19 on Bloomington's rental housing properties. The survey will provide data indicating the degree to which property owners are experiencing difficulty due to COVID-19. The purpose of the survey is to help inform key stakeholders and local policymakers in their efforts to design and implement targeted strategies in response to the urgent needs arising from the economic impacts of the pandemic.
Your participation in this survey is anonymous unless you choose to identify yourself at the end of the survey.
