Consultation has concluded

February 26, 2024 the Bloomington City Council approved the conveyance of Hyland Greens Golf Course to the Three Rivers Park District. Watch the Public Hearing and Read the Council Packet in the links on the right.

In 2021, the City of Bloomington (City) began a three-year agreement with Three Rivers Park District (Three Rivers) to manage and maintain Hyland Greens Golf Course (Hyland Greens). Three Rivers has successfully managed the course, but the initial three-year term of the agreement with the City ended at the conclusion of the 2023 golf season.

The City is now exploring options for maintaining the partnership going forward, including giving ownership of the property to Three Rivers, allowing them to continue investing in and operating the facility. The Bloomington City Council will hold a public hearing Monday, February 26, 2024, 6:30p.m. in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, to consider an ordinance to convey this property to Three Rivers.
