Service Model Proposal Feedback Survey

Please review the project update and proposed service modification map for sidewalk snow plowing.  We invite you to provide feedback on this proposal by taking this short survey and providing any additional comments.

Overall, how satisfied are you with the proposed shared sidewalk snow removal plan where the City handles city owned property, major roads with high volume, and sidewalk directly adjacent to streets.  Property owners would be responsible for coverage on less trafficked residential and business areas areas.

In this plan, sidewalks would typically be cleared within 24-48 hours of most snowfalls. Currently sidewalk clearing can take up to 72 hours to complete.  How satisfied would you be with this timing of sidewalk snow removal.

Do you feel this shared snow removal plan addresses the safety, usability and accessibility concerns for residents, including older adults, people with disabilities and children?  

4.  

Sidewalk clearing is currently handled by park maintenance staff, what is your level of support to shift staff time saved in this proposal to important winter park maintenance (like ice rink clearing), forest management, and natural resources.
