Give it up for the City of Bloomington volunteers with different roles, such as, needleworkers, chaplains, medical reserve corps, special events attendants, board and commission members, who help the City achieve its mission and save thousands of dollars in the process.

Volunteers donate time and talent to make Bloomington a remarkable place were people want to be. Some people volunteer locally in their neighborhood, and others volunteer with City programs.

There is a constellation of activities people engage in to make a difference in their communities, and we'd like to hear about them. How are you civically engaged? By helping your neighbors, thinking about the products you buy, volunteering for a board or commission, cleaning up invasive species? Tell us about it. The information will be showcased in the annual volunteer appreciation event, and shared widely with the public throughout the year.
