Key Dates

A public open house was held at Cedarcrest Park between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.  Come share your feedback on mobility and safety at this intersection and view the traffic data and proposed intersection control device trial planned for later in September.

Device trial #1 includes stop control on 89th Street approaches and curb bump outs around the SW and NE quadrants of the intersection for traffic calming.  Device trial #1 was in place from the week of 9/27/21 to 11/1/21.

Device trial #2 includes a traffic circle in the center of the intersection of 18th Avenue and 89th Street to assign intersection right-of-way and provide traffic calming.

A resident opinion survey will be mailed to the affected area.
