Next Steps

5. Approval. Upon completion of gathering community input, the proposed project will be brought to the Bloomington Planning Commission and City Council for approval. Based on the data collection and observations, staff will be recommending the project. If there are issues and concerns identified in the survey responses and comments, we will try to address those prior to seeking project approval.

6. Implementation. Upon approval and identified project funding, we anticipate permanent construction of the curb bump-outs, sidewalk connections, pedestrian ramps and all-way stop will be completed during the construction season of summer 2026
