The Comprehensive Plan, Bloomington 2050, sets the City’s 20-year vision through a set of goals, strategies, and actions that guide future growth and change in the City. Bloomington 2050 will outline the priorities related to future land use management, housing policy, transportation investment, climate adaption and mitigation, community infrastructure and local parks.

City staff will be out in the community as part of our Community Launch and start of our Phase I Engagement. In addition to these events, please share your feedback through the Bloomington 2050 Community Survey below.

This survey is an opportunity for community members to share their perceptions, values, aspirations, and experiences of Bloomington. It is one element of Phase I Engagement for the 2050 Comprehensive Plan Update, Bloomington 2050. This survey will help city staff and elected officials understand the most important issues and opportunities for the City to consider over the next 20 years.
