Item 8.2 Earned Sick and Safe Leave Task Force Report (pg. 86)

The ESSL task force brought a proposed ordinance that protects the well-being of Bloomington's workforce and residents to the Council meeting. The proposed ordinance supports the City Council's strategic priority of equity and inclusion. It also balances the unique needs and circumstances of Bloomington employers with the recognition that the City is part of a regional service and labor market. The City Council continued the discussion until March.

Public Hearing Notice

The City of Bloomington has officially published notice for a change to its ordinance regarding Earned Sick and Safe Leave. The hearing will be on Monday, April 11th at the 6:30 PM City Council Meeting.
