Get to know your neighborhood firefighters at the annual fire station open houses. Each year during National Fire Prevention Week, the Bloomington Fire Department celebrates by opening all its stations to the public for fun, food, and fire prevention education. This year’s fire station open houses will take place Saturday, October 9, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Fire station locations and information

Station events include fire equipment demonstrations and plow trucks. There will also be an opportunity to engage with staff and learn more about the new proposed Fire Station 4 project from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., at Station 4, 4201 West 84th Street.
