The storm sewer that serves as the outlet of Pauly's Pond is aging and in need of replacement. Temporary emptying of Pauly's Pond is proposed, to provide dry working conditions required to replace the pond outlet. Pauly's Pond is a Public Water regulated by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MN DNR). Per Minnesota State Statute, the MN DNR requires support from at least 75% of riparian [adjacent] landowners prior to authorizing temporary water level drawdown.

City of Bloomington Staff have compiled this page, and the FAQ on the right, to provide information about the project and seek support from adjacent landowners to allow replacement of the aging infrastructure.
